School Age Train-The -Trainer
This four day
training will focus on: - definitions to assist trainers in understanding how to manipulate training, tools and
manuals
- to
assist providers and others they are responsible for training to understand the practical strategies to aid in the
administrative components of a quality afterschool programming.
- The environment is creative and will aid Participants
in the ability to engage in creative hands on activities that support effective systems to designed to support out of school
time advocacy, manage fiscal resources and administrative policies, evaluation
- outcomes, workplace issues, strategies for recruitment and retention, staff development and
training, ideas for building a family-responsive program, building a "learning organization," leadership and management
styles,
- working
collaboratively with schools and communities.
Participants
of the train the trainer institute leave prepared to train multiple agency and personnel on what they have learned and carry
out the responsibilities of providing technical support on a state or national level using the JAi Consulting Model of Excellence
that has proven effective in center environments throughout the southeast regions.
